We have a tendency to think CO2 is negative. Because of Global warming. But, In other face, CO2 is very useful to use.
As you can see we use Co2 in various ways. For example, in our lives, we can see Co2 in beverages, and in concert, we see Co2 in form of gas.
Anyway, Today I explain to you about this, Electrochemical reaction. We convert Co2 to other materials using electrochemical reaction.
electrochemical device and therefore, there is no high-temperature step as normal burning. This direct conversion of chemical energy to electrical energy is more efficient and generates much less pollutions than do traditional methods that rely on combustion.
Fuel Cell Functionality
Fuel cells generate electricity from a simple electrochemical reaction in which an oxidizer, typically oxyge
Super-capacitors
EDLC(electrochemical double layer capacitors)
→ store E using ion adsorption
Pseudo-capacitors
→ fast surface redox reactions
→ higher capacitance than EDLC
Redox super-capacitors

Corrosion
Electrochemical nature of aqueous corrosion
• Anodic reaction (Oxidation)
M → M2+ + 2e-
⇒ Corrosion of metal
• Cathodic reaction (Reduction)
2H+ + 2e- → H2 (Acidic)
(1) Colorimetric assay
1) Halogenation by reaction type
free radical halogenation , ketone halogenation , electrophilic halogenation , and halogen addition reaction
① Free radical Halogenation
Free
이와 같은 전지를 Galvanic cell(=Daniel cell)이라 한다.
